Chicago Northwestern Men's Prayer Ministry Workshop

JOIN us for worship, fellowship, breakfast, and a time of learning! The featured Speaker will be Rev. Melvin L. Jones. Chaplain at Hines VA Hospital. He is at Bethel AME Church of Chicago.
Rev. Charles Murray will speak on Men's prayer groups Wardell Boyd the Conference Prayer Advocate will speak on the Upper Room There will be coffee, juice , donuts in the morning and sandwiches at the conclusion of the work shops.An offering will go to the Conference Prayer Advocacy ministry needs. Youth and Young Adult Band Gathering is August 14

Join youth and young adult bands from across the district for a Praise Band Festival as they lead worship and celebrate together on August 14, 2010, Saturday, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm (could go later). We will hear from over ten bands or more. The event will be held at Saint John's United Methodist Church, 1100 Ontario Street, Oak Park IL. All bands are welcome to participate.

Praise and worship bands should contact Eric Reniva, minister of youth at Saint Johns', no later than August 2 to set up your band's place. Contact Eric at emreniva@gmail.com to register your band, learn more information, or let him know you are coming just to listen and worship!
